It is suitable for sewer spraying, open-area hot fogging, and frost protection (antifreeze) applications.
In winter it is run in greenhouses with a suitable antifreeze solution to help prevent plants and the space from freezing.
An oil-based solution mixture is used for thermal fogging.
The Thermal Handheld is carried by hand and offers more flexible use; the K 100 is designed for higher-capacity continuous field work with its wheeled chassis and 15 HP engine.
